Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is an acclaimed American actor. She's appeared in many films and TV shows like "Christy", a comedy about a teenage girl known as Christy Huddleston. Her other notable roles include the lead role in the Hailey Dean Mystery series. Martin was the daughter of an employee of a department store and a kindergarten instructor. She began acting as a child at the age of seven. her aunt, the nanny of Michael Landon's household, assisted Martin find a role as an actor on the TV show Father Murphy. After graduating from Yale University, she took acting seriously and was able to land significant roles both on the smaller and big screen. Martin as well as being a skilled actor and dancer, she is also an accomplished ballet photographer. Two daughters are hers Martin is the Lupus representative and promotes awareness about the condition every day since the death of her sister, who was the age of 19.
