Transgender - Is The Voice's Sasha Allen a girl?

Sasha announced that he had been transgender for a while. Sasha faced some difficult times however she was confident that his family would be there for him and that music could aid. Jim and Sasha have both written songs and recently became an official couple. They've played at local open mics as well as other venues.
