Becki Newton

Becki was born at Guilford, Connecticut. As a teenager, she started performing in plays at the local theater and during summer productions of the stock theater. Then she spent a number of semesters studying European History in the University of Pennsylvania. After graduating, Becki immediately moved to NYC to explore Broadway. After performing in numerous nationally-telecast commercials, as well as guest-starring roles such as Cold Case (2003), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999), as well as American Dreams (2002), she landed the role of Amanda in Ugly Betty (2006). She's got a husband named Chris Diamantopoulos and has a brother that is Matt Newton. When I think of the most beautiful women these aren't supermodels.
